Leeds based powerhouses Avenoir are releasing their newest track Orpheus and Eurydice tomorrow and we have the amazing video to premiere below.
Kicking off their line up change with a massive new track, they're ready to show the world they're not slowing down anytime soon. After winning the elusive Centre Stage competition and having the opportunity to play on stages at Leeds and Reading Festival.
We spoke to founder Jack Hendy about the new track and he had the following to say;
What does this track mean to you?
As a band this track represents more the time we’re in right now rather than a concept or other meaning. It reflects, for us, the current state we are in as a band and our continuing progression together. The meaning of the song itself is left open for the listeners own interpretation.
How do you feel about the new direction the band is taking?
We’re very happy with our new direction and evolution of this band. We’re so grateful for the continued support we have had, especially from the likes of BBC Introducing and our friends and fans who have supported us along the way. We’re always open to new ideas and will never stop exploring new sounds so each direction we take will always be somewhat new.
